For what reason, generally speaking, are women encouraged to obtain abortions? Women are told they are too weak to care for a child. They are supposedly too poor, too young, and just by and large unqualified to be fit for motherhood. The message conveyed to women by the Culture of Death remains that their own children would be better off dead than to be raised by them.
